Super friendly people, and the ambience is great for a friend catch-up, or simply just have some relax time by yourself. The place is kids friendly. Lots of seating and cross the isle has a taco place, you can order from your table with a bar code and pick up at loading dock.
Good selection of IPAs and session beers. Will be back for sure!
This is a really nice place to spend time whether your family. Yes, it is right - this is a family place even it’s a brewery. They have a bike parking, a lot of space and patio outside. I saw there parents with infants. Great list of beers but not sure about the food. I guess, you can order from a place next door. Also they do accept Apple Pay. Liked this place really much.
Another "not my first time here, but first Google Review" for this place! Can be a bit hard to track at first but literally on the same lot as Hackney's on Lake. First came to this brewery back in early 2018 and because the owner is a Regina Dominican Alum like I am, you know I had to support the biz. Beer-wise, I am a sours, saison, type of drinker, and that is definitely what a majority of their brews were. Fast forward to present day, 5 years later, you can tell they have definitely spread a bit out more which is nice. I have photos directly posted on Macushla Brewing Co's Google Maps page and attached here is of my recent visit. Nice weather and nice expanded outdoor patio tables.
Great little place serving some of the best tasting beers in the microbrewery industry. The beers and the atmosphere at this place are a 5 star rating all day long. The service is definitely not..... if they're slightly busy you encounter a long wait line just to get a beer. Once you get to the bartender at the bar, you feel rushed if you're not familiar with their beer menu due to the long line of people behind you waiting for a beer. I'm not blaming the employee for that, it's the owner's fault. They had only one person running the whole entire place on a super busy Thursday night. The poor employee was bartending, closing people's open tabs, also picking up glasses from tables and washing them... all while bartending to an almost full establishment, that's insane. I hope they hire more people and schedule at least two people in the afternoon to evening hours, so their clients can have a much better full rounded experience. The system they have in place is terrible for volume sales, what they don't realize is the amount of people that just leave because it takes too long to get service, I was one of them. Not only does it takes too long to get a beer... but it also takes too long just to close your open tab at the bar because you have to get in line. I hope that by the next time I stop by, they have implemented a better service plan in place.
Really good beer (and limited but solid cocktail and wine options for non-beer drinkers), always incredibly friendly service, and a very comfortable vibe. Highly recommended. Very dog friendly, which is a huge plus for us. Took our boy there and the staff and patrons couldn't have been nicer. We've been back ever since and always enjoy ourselves.
Never knew this little gem existed until last night. Fantastic live band on the patio on a beautiful night. Was slightly confused with the single-file line leading from one corner of the bar and out into the venue 20 people deep? I believe I saw three bartenders working and I'm having a hard time doing the math on this one. I've worked enough bars back in the day and can't recall seeing a single-file line. Maybe next time they can guide the patrons over the full space of the bar area. Just some costructive thoughts 😁
Had fun trying some unique beer selections. And we ordered food from Hackney's.
Great addition to the neighborhood! Good variety of beers brewed on premises: chances are you'll find something to like there, no matter what kind of beer you prefer. Food is delivered by Hackney's; ask to see full menu for more choices. Strike up a conversation with Mickey - you won't regret it!
